Just to give you parents of young boys an idea, we were told on Monday from a salesman at Mr. Macs that from start to finish, it costs about $1600 to buy the clothes, luggage and accessories to send a boy out on mission. Missionary Mall is pretty comparable to that cost. FYI
I guess it is payback for all those dance dresses, however, my boys always felt "better" going to a dance in a new outfit. (MAYBE THAT WAS THEIR MOM'S AFFINITY TO SHOPPING) Not to mention day dates and dinner costs. Oh well. There is always the wedding that we get out of paying for.
ANOTHER FYI: I recommend Body World, especially for those wanting to go into the medical field. It isn't gross, it was interesting and if anything looked fake.

Yikes. I'd better start saving my pennies...and keep my fingers crossed that my kids will rise above my parenting faults and choose to go on a mission!!!
