Well, It has been 3 weeks and 2 days since my surgery and I finally feel up to getting on the computer and posting on facebook and the blog. I am doing ok. The tumor was benign. I have been truly blessed and impressed by all of our family, neighbors, friends and ward-members that have been so generous and thoughtful. I actually went to Colton's football game on last Friday. It did me in, and I was in bed most of Saturday. I did go to Sacrament Meeting today and feel ok. The numbness of my head seems to be getting less and less so I am dealing with some sharp pain. I am trying to get better so that I will be ready for work in another 3 weeks. My skin is pealing on my forehead, I am also trying to figure out what type of hairdo to do to deal with the shaved head look. Dave has been so wonderful. He has had to listen to my complaints and yet he has been so good to me. My parents have also had their hands full with making sure I am taken care of. The tumor is benign, I have a followup MRI in a few weeks. I just wish the pain in the back of my head would go away soon. Here are some pictures, I am not proud of them.

Maria, I am so glad you're getting better. You have really been through it this year! We will continue to keep you in our prayers. love ya
You look great. I am so proud of you and how you have handled all this. You are a great example of strength. I love you.
It was so fun to chat with you for a while the other day. Other than your fancy hair-do, you seemed completely yourself. (Most people have to squint at least one eye when they get a look at me near the end of the day ;) ) I love you. Know that I am thinking about you a LOT. xoxox Rita
you are absolutely amazing!
I found your blog through Jill. I am amazed at how fast time passes. I can't believe you have a missionary. It seems like yesterday I was VT you and I can't remember which boy swallowed a nickel. BTW I have used that story when my kids put foreign objects in their mouth. =) I am so sorry you have been sick, but I am so excited it is benign. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care!
