We Survived, Barely It Seems

Well school has ended and here comes another summer. We made it through Dave's TDY week. Colton and I picked up a really bad cold along the way. Jackson had two ball games, one was called for lightning with a tied score, the other one with Jackson's team winning. We had John's family out here for the week and we tried really hard to have fun but not share our disease with them. They took Tyler to the MTC and dropped him off at the curb, kind of disappointing I would suppose. He will be a great missionary, I know it. Just the changein him into a man from a month ago was amazing to me.
Colton went to every end of school party he could, Jackson spent every not in school moment with Jason and Ryan, his cousins. Jackson and Colton went FlowRiding two times each. I tried to get better but couldn't miss work because we were shorthanded. Dave got home late Thursday and I was grateful for some relief.
Colton went to a Line Man Challenge sponsored by Weber State. He and 4 other Lancers were named the Number One Line in the State. They beat out the other schools. He was exhausted.
Colton starts football in a week and Jackson starts music camp tomorrow. He will take a few days off for football camp later this month.
We had a garage sell at Andrea's on Saturday. I laid kind of low this weekend to try to get better. So far....it is a little better. I missed my opportunity to sing at Stake Conference with the Stake Choir that I had practiced with, I was a little disappointed not to get the opportunity due to my sickness. It was better than me coughing my head off all meeting. We said goodbye to John's family and had June's birthday celebration.

I thought the choir sounded a little weak ;) Actually, it was a beautiful meeting--talks and music. We had scripture reading 2 days in a row, ate dinner all together, and had Family Home Evening tonight so you can tell it was inspiring. Yeah, a week of this and we're looking at possible translation...not because we're so good but because it's such a drastic improvement from what we've been accepting as good enough lately. Sad but true.

I hope that you are feeling better or at least that you've been able to take some time off to mend. You're a crazy, busy lady...emphasis on the busy, of course.

But don't forget you get to participate with the FNB choir!
