WEAR CLEAN UNDERWEAR AND KEEP YOUR ROOM CLEAN

Last night, as we were enjoying our evening visiting with my sister Amy and her family out by the pool at my parents home, trouble was lurking next door at our house. At about 9:15pm, I called Britton and asked him to come over to visit with us, since he had been at work all afternoon. He said that he couldn't, I asked why. He said there are about 10 people trashing Colton's bedroom. Startled, I said, what do you mean trashing? He said they are Saran wrapping his bedroom. I asked who, he said he couldn't tell me. I asked why, he said I don't know. I asked, who let them in? He said I did. (That is a polite nice brother to let people in to trash your brothers room.)

This is a lesson to all you teenagers out there, listen to your mother when she tells you to wear clean underwear and to keep your room clean. You don't know when you will be in an accident or when some hot babes want to Saran wrap your bedroom for no reason.

Unfortunantly, Colton doesn't always abide by either saying.

Cruise Continued

In Mazatlan, we saw a cliff diver. It was very fun. We learned that we had to learn to ignore the constant bartering that goes on in Mexico. We bought a real "Mexican Rolex" for Britton, a hammock for Colton, and a Conk Shell for Jackson. These were hard sales for us to get through.

We had three "At Sea Days". This was so nice for us to get used to being on the ship. We took every tour, attended most shows, entered every drawing and to counteract the food, we took the stairs everywhere we went. This was good but very hard since our cabin was on the seventh floor. In Cabo San Lucas, we went snorkeling. This was both of our first time. It was so fun. We were very nervous, especially after the guy that had snorkeled a lot, jumped in the water and had a panic attack. Dave and I both wondered why we were doing this. It was so worth it. We jumped off the catamaran and started swimming. Man I swam fast with flippers. It could have also been the fact that I was trying to stay ahead of any sharks that might be lurking. Dave kept asking me, why are you going so fast. Little did he know that my thought process was, I don't have to be the fastest swimmer, just faster than Dave. As I would go under the water, I scared myself. I would say to myself, oh, there are a lot of fish all around me. Then I would surface and they would all go away, only to come back when I went under water. This was the funnest day on the cruise. I did get a little anxious due to the fact that we had to tender to get on the ship. I was nervous that we would miss the last tender.

Something that I felt was a little unfair on the cruise, everytime we ate dinner in the dining room, I had to dance with the waiter. Dave thought it was so fun.

It was worth the twenty years for such a great vacation. Dave and I are looking forward to our next cruise. I want to go to Alaska, Dave wants to go to The Carribean. Dave will win, that's ok. Oh, I bet you wondered where our children were during this vacation; Britton and Colton stayed at home, and Jackson went next door to Grandma's. The older boys learned that it isn't as much fun to be left at home when every neighbor is related to you, and know that your Mom and Dad are out of town.

ANNIVERSARY CRUISE

Dave and I took an early anniversary cruise to the Mexican Riviera in May. We had a great time. It was our first cruise. In Puerto Villarta we went on a excursion in a jeep that we were matched up with another couple from Utah on. We drove through the country and went to the Tequilla Factory; where we ignored the sign on the Hot Sauce that said VERY HOT. After our mouths stopped burning, we were able to enjoy ourselves. We took a taxi to the Hard Rock for Dave.
